Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO WE PAY?

We use Barclay's payment portal to take payment for all our online course bookings.

HOW MUCH DO THE COURSES COST?

If you are atteding the full course (4 days) the cost of the course is £100.

The daily rates are as follows:

1 day: £35
2 days: £60
3 days: £85

4 days: £100

A further discount will be applicable if you book more than 3 courses at any one time.

WHAT LEVEL SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY CHILD?

Please refer to the course descriptions, which will give you an idea of which course may suit them.  If you are still unsure please seek advice by emailing Matt. If they are attending with friends then we will always look to keep them together. It is recommended that they go on a level where they are likely to cope and after the first day if we feel that they can be promoted we will do so.  This is better than the alternative of DEMOTING them from a group where they are struggling. IMPORTANT IF ATTENDING WITH FRIENDS We will always make every effort to keep friends in the same group, however if there is a significant difference in their skill level, it is likely that we would recommend that they be in different groups.  If this does occur we would encourage you to speak to the head coach of the group or Matt if there is a problem.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION PROCEEDURE?

You will need to come along and register your child on the first day and help them put their lunch away.  However on the remaining days we encourage all the children to come along and check themselves in, which allows you to get on your way quicker.

WHAT IS THE COLLECTION PROCEEDURE?

You do not have to sign your child out, however we encourage you to come and collect them from the drop off and collection point.  They will not be allowed to leave until they have shown us that a parent or guardian is here to collect them.

DO COURSES EVER BECOME FULLY BOOKED?

Yes they do especially over the Easter and Summer Half term. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

WHAT ARE THE COURSE TIMINGS?

During the summer the BASIC, INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED levels all run during the morning from 9am to 1.30pm.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

A majority of our courses run from Mon to Thu in case we lose a day to rain.  On the rare occasion that this has happened we have Friday as a back up day.  We have occasionally changed the timings to dodge the showers.  We have used indoor nets and other indoor facilities to entertain the children.  In the event that we cancel a day we will offer you a CREDIT NOTE to use on another course.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THE EVENT OF RAIN.
If you are unsure of the weather please look at our website and call the following number (07730 578248) before you set off in the morning where there will be an updated message left for all parents notifying you of whether the cricket is going ahead.

WHAT KIT SHOULD MY SON BRING?

BASIC LEVEL – Bat only
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL – Bat, gloves and abdominal guard (BOX)
